Having owned and flown a Tri-Pacer for 500+ hours I can only smile when I hear it called a flying milk stool. I know that comment comes from someone that has few if any hours in one. The Tri-Pacer is one of the most under rated, under valued airplanes on the market. It has the most honest flying qualities of any airplane flying. I never had to cancel a flight due to mechanical problems and it never surprised me with unexpected handling characteristics. Anyone with any time in a Tri-Pacer will grow to love it. As for tri-geared KR's, I think some of the nicest looking KR's set on tri-gear. If you've ever seen KR's like Joe Horton's you'll have to agree. A properly geared tail dragger and tri-geared KR hold an equal level of beauty in my eyes. To each his own. Enough said....... Larry Flesner
