I've done body work for thirty five years.  I am a firm believer in using
quality paint and undercoats.  Limco and the other generic brands don't have
the UV protectors that your major brand paints have.  We've tried many brands
of the cheaper paints and they just don't hold up.  I would not spend five or
more years building an airplane to put a cheap paint job on it.  Just doesn't
make sense.

I used Ditzler Cross Fire polyurethane enamel on my KR and is still good. It
uses a reducer and a hardner.
