Seeing the photo of Robert's prop reminded me of a tip I may have
posted in the past but it bares repeating. It is a good idea when
ordering a prop to have the maker put a flat black paint finish on
the back side of the blades to cut down glare. My landing lights are
inboard of the prop arc and the first time I taxied it after dark all
I could see was a 60 inch diameter wood colored arc in front of
me. I even got some glare when flying with my back to the sun on a
day with no cloud cover.
