I called an Avionics shop a while back about my encoder sometimes not working. He ask what brand encoder I had? I said Ameriking. He said that was the problem. Wants to sell me a new encoder (not Ameriking, can't remember the brand), but the encoder, install and test it about $700. I don't have a new encoder yet.
