FR4 for circuit boards is not made to be structural.  I have seen a lot
of boards that are more epoxy than fiberglass.  What you want in your
structural laminates is more glass and less epoxy.

I have never heard of fr4, but I have used FRP (fibreglass reinforced 
plywood) in trailer repairs. think this could be used in non-structural 
uses.
