Hi Jeff; I thought I would let you know that I got my new Cont. O-200-A engine mount finished today. I know, these things take time don't they. Anyway I'm now going to prep it for painting so I can get the engine mounted soon. By the way, I mounted it to the engine for a test fit and it did great, it clears the alternator with room to spare using my 28" top and 26" bottom dimensions with 14-1/2" seperation top to bottom. It matches up to the firewall just great.
Now the building fixture that I built will accomodate any of three engine mounts for the KR-2/KR-2S depending on how one prefers to mount it to the firewall and can easily be adapted to a VW if needed. Well, have a great day and thanks for helping with the mount plans.
