I would stick with the Compufire. Dirt simple and very robust. I have one on both my 1974 Karmann Ghia and my KR2. I've thought about Megasquirt and CIS too, but at the end of the analysis it's dirt simple, light, and minimal electrical connections spell "reliable" to me! Jim Faughn built an aerodynamic teardrop around his distributor, so it can be made attractive. If it ain't broke, I wouldn't fix it...
