Interestingly, I just watched an EAA video where the guy was making a 3/32 cable. He used two sleeves each with one crimp and spread out from each other by about 1/2 inch. It seems there are many ways to accomplish the same end goal of strength. I kind of like the two sleeve idea s we all know redundancy in systems is a good thing along with regular inspections. Bob R
