The flight home was clear skies, 360 miles and 2.5 hours.

My "drive" home was uneventful too.  50 miles in 56 minutes in my truck loaded with leftovers.  This year was number 27 in the last 28 years, I missed Chino, and I'm looking forward to next year with hopefully, a lot less effort.  I'd like to spend more time with the builders than I've had time to do in the past.  The KR remains in the hangar at Mt.Vernon and will return home next week to try on  a new prop.

Thanks to all that helped out this year and to all that attended to make the Gathering a success.  Financial report in a few days. Right now I getting ready to celebrate my 55th class reunion and polishing up a 15 minute program to share with attendees.

Happy flying.........
