Need to find out what others have used as a rpm source that works with a Dynon
Skyview. be helpful.

If you don't get an answer I'll stop by and check it out on a friends
RV10. I recall hooking something up but it has been several years ago
and I remember I had to go by radio shack to get some small resistors to
install with the hookup.
Also, have you gone to the Dynon Skyview site to download updates?
Version 7 seems very outdated as I recall. I seem to recall the latest
versions of updates in the RV10 was 13+ or more. Seems like there was
something buried in the install manual on tach input and the need for a
small resistor. Their manual can be a bit overwhelming so you may have
to dig for a one or two sentence paragraph somewhere in the 200 or so
page manual.
Updating the Skyview is not difficult if I can do it. Download updates
to a "stick" and insert the "stick" into the unit.
