Vic, I gravity feed fuel from my header tank to the carb on my O-200 powered KR. My header tank is sitting on the bottom shelf that is behind the firewall. I can run it totally dry with the M/S carburetor with no problems. That being said, other than some high speed passes with steep climbs I'm pretty much a calm and coordinated flyer. One recommendation, Make sure your vent line doesn't trap fuel. Even gravity doesn't work if the vent becomes blocked. In the test phase I lost power twice and had to dead stick it in. I was lost for an answer until I talked to Jeff Scott, he is very knowledgeable man.
