You loose approx 1 inch of atmosphere (MP) per thousand foot of
altitude. At 10,500 ft density altitude you are down to approx 65%
power without boost. That would explain a large part of your loss of
power but not all. From my limited exposure to them I'm not sure the
soob engines put out all the power they claim.
