Be very careful using a ring terminal under the spark plug. In my experience
in my volkspane it was very difficult to prevent them from leaking, which lets
the cylinder suck in air and run lean, ie hot. In conversations with Steve
Bennett, this was why he had moved the probe to a cylinder stud. I like the way
that the aero vee mounts the probe but never tried it myself, i moved mine to a
cylinder stud as Steve recommended and never had any more issues....robert

terminals bend to fit in the hole, then separated the wire from the
cylinder head fins. I also put some clear shrink tubing on the end
where they connect to the electronics, to keep the insulation from
fraying and making a mess later.
