You may want to read Eduardo Barros's web page where he installed a Rotax 912
engine in his KR2S and made his own muffler.

to design a turbo muffler instead of the catalisator.
Is there someone in our KR family who can help me to design something?
The engine sound is 6500 rpm sound.
The lenght I can easily use is 12/ 13 inch. If I go longer I think I have to
install the Muffler outside the cowling. That is not what I want.

The link above you will see at 3/4 from the top my exhaust system ( at this
moment the cat is not there and it is only a tube). The last muffler is the
original BMW type.
Hope someone off you have some tips for me.
