Anthony, see http://www.krnet.org/kronline/sept1996/ (about two thirds
of the way down) where Jeff Scott wrote about this in what we used to
call the "KRnet Online Newsletter". This newsletter filled a publishing
gap of the KR Newsletter. There are other good articles about various
things written there, at http://www.krnet.org/kronline (photos are MIA,
for the moment).
And for others who haven't seen them, the KR Newsletters are all posted
at http://www.krnet.org/newsletter/ . There's a wealth of information
in these newsletters, and they are in searchable PDF form. It'll take a
few months to read them all, but there's a wealth of information and
ideas on how to improve the plane or mold it into something better,
which was the genesis for many of the latest incarnations of larger,
faster, and more spacious KR2S airplanes....
