looks like and easy build as dimensions are given at the bottom of the page. I got mine as a "freebee" and it works GREAT. I simply mounted it vertical in the tail cone with a tie rap on the second cross member behind the baggage area. The top curves forward and the bottom curves forward also. No ground plane needed. I use it with a 5 watt handheld and can easily communicate 50+ miles, loud and clear, and on more than one occasion received transmissions form 80 miles and transmitted 75 + miles.
