"I still need someone to help out on the first take off of my KR because experience is what it takes!!" Rob Schmitt's advice pretty much nails it. I would add only that first flights by inexperienced KR pilots should be done on the longest runway possible. This reduces stress of worrying about running off the end when landing and also gives space to set it back down if something suddenly interrupts the take-off.
I would add, using a non-towered runway is highly preferable. It reduces distraction. Focus needs to be completely on the aircraft . . . not on what somebody in a tower is telling you when and what to do.
