FWIW, while all the brokers seem to be raising prices, the underwriters at AVEMCO say their prices are holding steady. I was paying $345/yr for the KR and am still paying the same for the Cub and the RV. My quote for this year should be in the mail in the next week or two. Using an aircraft engine in each of my planes may have helped to reduce the cost of insurance.
I would suggest watching this insurance round table with some of our favorite brokers and one underwriter. This round table was recorded in January and discusses the current state of aviation insurance. Much of the discussion centered around the challenge of insuring aging pilots, especially those >80. <https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=4z0mygz_K-8> -Jeff Scott Arkansas Ozarks ________________________________ -Please see LIST RULES and KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html -Change list delivery options at https://list.krnet.org/list/krnet.list.krnet.org/ Affinity List Info Board -Search recent KRnet Archives at https://list.krnet.org/empathy/list/krnet.list.krnet.org/ -Search John Boyea's decades of archive at https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/
