No, that was not me but has to be one of my distant relatives three or four times removed.  As uncommon as the Flesner name is any Flesner that you meet will be one of my relatives.  I have in fact come across three or four Larry G(Gene) Flesner over the years.  Some Flesner's in the Oklahoma area, some in central Illinois, my clan in west Central Illinois (Golden, Illinois) and others scattered around the country.  I think we all came from the northwest coast of Germany called Ostfriestland in the mid 1800's.  Family members back in the later 1800's scattered as they thought the blood line was getting a bit thick.  Some Flesner's , even members of the same family, spell with a double S in the name and others with a single S but all are related.

If it's not too much trouble I'd like a copy of that log book page.  Just send it via e-mail or a text to 618 201 5958.
