My "asking for an update" from John was actually more of a notice to
John that I would not be hosting/ co-hosting the Gathering this year. I
turned 80 a few months back and my 20 year run of hosting/co-hosting has
run it's course. Little did I know the task I took on when inviting the
KR community to Mt.Vernon in 2003. Through my efforts over the years
I've acquired many good friends and I don't regret a single moment of my
efforts. Thanks to John and others that helped over the many years at
Mt.Vernon.
John has kept the web site www.krgathering.net for the group and any
information on the Gathering can be found there. The site is not
currently totally up to date but John will update as additional plans
are made. Stand by........
John has again offered to get hats and shirts to sell at the Gathering
if there is interest. That is a considerable task so if you are
interested let him know early. I'm asking other members of the KR
community to offer help to John and other planners and host / co-host to
make the Gathering an educational and fun event. The greater the help
the less the hassle.
