I may drop my objections (seeing as how I seem to be alone in them), but I believe the default value is not quite a stylistic choice and even if it was, it is well within the domain of the review. Frankly, I'm dismayed by the number of assertions as to what is best without any backing data. The resolution to this should not be: What any engineer thinks is best. Or even: What the development community thinks is best. But rather: What will best satisfy the largest portion of our user base. This last (and correct) answer pushes us (the community and the ARC) into the relm of interpreters of insufficient data where our experience as **customer interfacing** engineers comes into play. In all cases, our personal experiences and preferences as individual engineers (or individual site administrators) should be left at the door. Sigh, - jek3
