Yes, but not for the first putback. The first putback should introduce "ksh93" (and it's aliases "rksh93", "pfksh93" etc.) and the libraries and should not affect anyone else (not even the original /usr/bin/ksh). We're ending up in opening a can of worms when we try to do it all in one step. We also have to provide feedback for David Korn and Glenn Flower to adjustments on demand which can only be done AFTER the integration into OS/Net is complete. And the library API may change since at least on my wishlist is an item called "threading support in libshell" which will require minor adjustements in the libshell API etc. etc. ... ... I would really prefer small, simple steps (and avoid causing unneccesary trouble for other people). ---- Bye, Roland -- __ . . __ (o.\ \/ /.o) roland.mainz at nrubsig.org \__\/\/__/ MPEG specialist, C&&JAVA&&Sun&&Unix programmer /O /==\ O\ TEL +49 641 7950090 (;O/ \/ \O;)
