When I try to change the file associations in konqueror->settings->Configure
konqueror->file associations, I change
to open *.avi files with vlc instead of kaffeine. Thiis works fine and if I
click on OK, an window pops up, showing updating the configuration.
If now Itry to open an avi file, it should be opened with the new association
(vlc), but instead it remains to open with kaffeine. If I view the associations
I made before, the table looks unchanged, with kaffeine at first place.
I use Kubuntu 7.10 on i386.
What can I do to change the file associations and in which file are
these informations stored?
