Hey Clay! Here is what I tried to submit in the rejected email: "Apparently the issue about normalize-audio not being detected in k3b, even when the normalize-audio package has been installed, is an old one, and apparently, fixable. Bug reports from years ago, and even recently filed ones, still report this problem. The problem seems to be that k3b is testing for a specific version of normalize- audio, and that fails, so normalize-audio is reported as 'not found'. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/k3b/+bug/45026 and comment #32 by Vanessa Ezekowits who posted a simple shell script to overcome the programming 'error' in k3b. I also found a similar script, which I used, at: http://machine-cycle.blogspot.com/2011/04/fixing-normalize-audio-feature-in- k3b.html Would you please look at this, and give serious concideration to fixing k3b to resolve this simple problem? Thank you." -- Paul -- Proudly running Linux since 2007 Toshiba Satellite P105-S6147 - Kubuntu Natty 11.04 32-bit - Kubuntu Maverick 10.10 32-bit HP Pavilion g7-1070us - Kubuntu Natty 11.04 64-bit - Ubuntu Natty 11.04 64-bit ----------------------------------------- -- Clay Weber http://kubuntuforums.net http://ubuntumaine.org http://emacdogsports.com -- kubuntu-devel mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-devel
