The networking issue was the upgrade from 14.04 > 14.10. I feel that we should *always* provide an upgrade path. I agree that the P5 step is a special case. Still, we *must* figure out how to make the switch from Lightdm to SDDM go smoothly at some point. Some people always do a clean install, and some always upgrade. Most of us pick and choose. I wanted to test the upgrade and report my experiences.
