Ninjas and Developers, If I'm missing anyone that should be involved in this conversation, please loop them in. I directly emailed this to all the ninjas and developers who have been somewhat active recently (and I'm CCing kubuntu-devel as an FYI).
I propose we have a meeting to discuss several topics that we need decisions on and to swap notes that were gathered while at Akademy. I'm proposing a two (2) hour meeting on Big Blue Button with the following agenda: 1. What's the plan for getting KDE Applications 16.04.3 into Yakkety Yak? 2. What is the plan for the following PPAs? a. Backports b. KCI Stable c. Updates 3. What major bugs and/or problems need to be fixed at the moment in Yakkety? (final beta is just around the corner and we need to participate, afair that's not an option) 4. Generally swap notes gathered at Akademy. 5. Training session for me and Rik on updating symbols. I think for a lot of these agenda items, I would prefer discussion via Big Blue Button over IRC or email, because it would be quicker and discussion could potentially bring out more ideas. Since people need to recover from Akademy (jet lag sucks :/), I need to recover from surgery (among other things), and two people (afair) are sick, I'm proposing the meeting be next weekend. Here is a Doodle Poll: http://doodle.com/poll/xh89p6xspfkdz5hu (remember to change your time zone appropriately, I created that poll in my time zone and most of you are in Europe) Thoughts? (please excuse typos and wording issues, I'm writing this late but I wanted to get this email out) -- Simon Quigley [email protected] tsimonq2 on freenode and OFTC
