I really like this initiative. AND, our beta deadline is approaching: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/YakketyYak/ReleaseSchedule says September 22nd - Final Beta Freeze, Final Beta Scarlett has said that she will help by uploading Frameworks. I've blogged about getting help to get Plasma and perhaps some (or all?) of the applications we have finished. This is a tough time for the team. We have few Kubuntu Developers right now, although so many people are getting close to qualifiying, in my opinion. But to have have a decent release in mid-October, we need to have most everything uploaded by the 22nd, three days from now. Next release, we hope to have many more Developers to do the checking and uploads, and get it done earlier in the process. If you can help out, please drop by #kubuntu-devel and talk with our packaging team.
