I'm using kvpnc for a Cisco (vpnc) type connection
However, I always get the message "vpnc is too old. minimum req. is 0.3.x"
I have 0.3.3 installed
Under settings, configure kvpnc, vpnc version shows "no info"
I installed openvpn, and the version info was picked up by kvpnc.
both openvpn and vpnc binaries reside in /usr/sbin and have the same permissions I saw a previous bug posting on the subject and the suggestion to change the PATH manually
In my experience setting "programs are in path" does not help
On first startup of kvpnc, the path was set to /usr/bin, but I changed that manually to /usr/sbin
and that is also in the config file
Path to vpnc-bin=/usr/sbin/vpnc
Path to openvpn=/usr/sbin/openvpn
I'm running the program using the root passwd.

best regards
laury
