sure a master/slave switch didn't get bumped? also, it's easy to break a wire on the tie cable!
also, if you have modules (esp 185) make sure the doors are closed! (unless you do our grounded hinge mod ;-) 1. If they are not synced, you should be able to call a slave ext from a slave ext (test for working slave), and a master ext can call a master ext(test for working master). 2. be sure 192 cards are firmly connected to cabinet, and tie cable is firmly connected. 3. pull the co lines loose (we use a 25pair connector(male) with 6 4pr cables (2 rj14 wired modular plugs). 2 cables(co1-4,co5-8) to base, 1 cable(co9-12) to 180, on each system. The 25p male plugs into 25p connectorized block (the co lines). you can skip this if you can make damn sure no-one or thing with pick up ANY CO line. 4. Power both systems from the same power strip (or UPS). Set master & slave power switches "ON". Use power strip or UPS as THE power switch. Turn UPS on, wait four minutes, systems should be synced. You can safely test for sync during power-up by putting master, port 01 into sys prg mode, then check 116 sys>1 for a rom id, no id, no sync, id, you have sync. 5. reconnect 25 pair co connector 6. say blessing for pointed headed pano software engineer. 7. go home also, don't use two ups's! good luck -larry --- Steve Kiene <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have dual KX-TD 1232 cabinets connected with a > system interconnect > cable.
