I'm pretty sure you can enable camp-on (AKA call waiting). That should give
you a camp-on tone while you are on the phone.

Subject: KX-T: TD1232-5 ASSIGNING MORE INTERCOM BUTTONS

| Guys,
|
| I'm sure this is gonna come back with a big FAT NO, "it can't be
| done" with Pana's state of the art technology........but here it goes
| anyway.
|
| I am wanting to give some ext's a couple of extra intercom path
| buttons for busy rollover purposes.
|
| For example if someone dials ext. 0 for the operator and that phone
| is already on the intercom line instead of the pain of dialing 1 the
| whole time I want to assign a second and third spare CO key as a
| rollover intercom line to illuminate dialing 1 all the time or turn that
| dialing 1 off so it just rings.
| I'd like to assign a couple intercom keys to a couple of other busy
| ext's too. Is this possible and how can it be done?
|
| I'm wondering if I set up a ACD / UCD with ext. 101 only in a group
| and phantom buttons on ext. 101?? Hhhmmmm......
|
|
|
| As always many thanks!!
| John
