I think that I have observed an interesting behavior of KX-TD1232 CID
name substitution. When CID information arrives for a local number
(defined by Program 125), the KX-TD1232 will display a CID name
(program 111) when there are CID number entries (program 110)
corresponding to both the raw number, as well as for the modified
number (program 125, 126, 127). The KX-TD1232 displays the Program
111 entry corresponding to the raw CID information.
I discovered this when I tried to configure CID names for cell phone
numbers in the local area code. The cell phone provider (NexTel)
transmits a generic "Wireless Caller" instead of an identifying name.
