(1) Put a low end PC with NIC in it. Place this PC next to your KXT
controller.
 
(2) Assigning an IP address to this PC.
    Connect this PC to your office LAN. or even internet.
    Make sure that you can ping this PC from your other LAN PC.

(3) Connecting this PC COM port to the KXT SMDR port.
    Using the PC Hyper Term to verify that the the HyperTerm
    can see the SMDR log.  

(4) Download the sw from www.mft.com/phonelogger  and install it 
    on this PC as according to the instruction on the web site.

(5) From any PC using IE browser to see the call log.

In addition to the other comments, many electrical/electronic supply
houses supply "unprogrammed" DB9/DB25 <-> RJ-45 hoods that you can use
to
connect the CAT 5 cable.
