Gentlemen,

I have been digging around in the archives for some time about this
without luck:

Our office has a few phones set up in a phantom for incoming sales
calls. This works great except for if we are all out of the office. In
that case, the AA picks back up after a few rings and gives the "no one
is available" message, leaving the callers without many options, or even
knowing if they have even called sales!

Ideally, I would like to have a sales voice mailbox for this group of
phones (that also have their own voice mail's btw), and I may be going
on a limb here, but I would also like the ability that if none of the
phones answer, to perhaps send them to a CO-line directed at my cell
phone. I do not wish to jimmy rig the general delivery box if I can
avoid it, as I may like to duplicate whatever solution this is for our
support calls as well. I would also like some of our phones to be
"multi-homed" (ringing when sales rings, as well as support). So far,
Phantoms work great, EXCEPT for when nobody is here (to take a message)
or to transfer to an outside line.

Perhaps something along the lines of getting an extra PT, to be
dedicated to "sales", so then I know I can attach a VMB to it, but then
how do I get other phones to know when sales is ringing?

I appreciate the feedback and guidance relating to my dilemma,

Brian Martin
