This unit is two large gel batteries and a simple charger with an inline fuse. For the Panasonic cost you are probably better off getting a good UPS, particularly if you need to backup other equipment. Otherwise you can make your own quite easily and it can then be made to order. This would allow you to use smaller or larger batteries depending on run time needed, and charge time can be incresed. Alarm suppliers would probably have something, or an emergency lighting unit, or.......
