The KSU actually "holds" the call, not the TVS. If you check the integration, you will see a "F" as the first command, which is a flash (hold) signal to the KSU. In some applications, we actually drop the call to the KSU rather than allow the TVS to take back the call if unanswered. Such an application would be a Doctor's office where the call is answered by the TVS, and choices are allowed. Calls for the receptionist are then "dropped" to her extension.
