There are quite a few areas that can cause you trouble.................
Check that in every mailbox you have an extension associated with it.
Check the mailbox & make sure message light notification has not been turned
off. Check class of service & make sure you have Message light notification
turned on. & check pbx parameters that you have the ports enabled to do
message light notification. Usually you only use one of your ports for this
function so you don't tie up both ports at once doing message lights.

Subject: KX-T: tvs50 question

> I have a tvs50 connected to a KXTA 624. I have single line phones, 2
KXT61630 phones and 1 KXT7130 phone hooked up to it. My question is how do I
get the message light to light up on the KXT7130 when there is a message in
the mailbox for that phone. I have message notification turned on in the tvs
50. Specifically the 7130 is connected to ext 101. when there is a message
left in voicemail for 101, the message light should light up but i can't get
it to do it. The light is in working order because i can get it to light
from another extension activating the light to say there is an extension
message waiting. I thought I read somewhere that the message light doesn't
work on ext 101. Is that true. Any other suggestions
