Good point, I'll try to state the problem and intended behavior more
clearly next time.

With some help from this forum and the manual, we were able to fix the
problem. A big thanks to the folks on this list. I'm just the sales guy
who's inherited the phone system and do appreciate this resource, for
it's saved us before!

Chris

This kind of performance makes all phone tech's look bad. What ever
happened to good practice?

How many of you go out and make a change, then don't test it before
leaving?

Chris, I would call the vendor, speak with the tech's supervisor, and
expect someone to come out and fix it at no charge. If you aren't
satisfied, don't pay the bill.

You didn't say what it was you were trying to do in the first place, so
it will be difficult for anyone to provide anything more than vague
instructions. You will be much better off reading the pertinent parts of
the install guide.

We had a phone tech come out and mess up our system (KX-TA624 & TVS-50).

Calls are not ringing through, but instead are going directly into voice
mail. Help!

Anyone know the secrete code (to modify via phone, not HyperTerminal) to
turn off this feature and turn back on the ring to appropriate
extension?

I watched the dumb ass set a setting via terminal mode from no to yes
for each extension, now we need to turn it back to no (arg!)

Thanks
Chris
