We got an announcement that describes the new features on the KXT voice mails. I have to say the new features look great and I was wondering if anyone on the list has put one in yet?
Does anyone know if the new Caller ID features will work if a new TVS is installed on an older TD816 or TD1232? If so what versions? What really looks neat is the Caller ID callback feature that allows you to press 4 while listening to a message to call the person back automatically. I wonder how well it works. Can this be done from outside the office? It would be great to call from the cell, listen to a message and then press 4 to call the person back using the conf feature. Allowing each mailbox to have a personal custom service is excellent and long overdue. Does anyone know if this will work on these new systems? Each mailbox owner wants to say in their personal greeting "Hi this is NAME I am not at my desk right now but to try me on my cell phone press 5, otherwise leave a message and I will call you back". When the caller presses 5 it tries the cell phone and if no answer the caller gets returned to the mailbox of the KX-TVS125, not the cell phone. Will it work?
