Hello!

My company have two offices. Distance between offices something about
800m-1km. Both offices connected to one PC network via fiber optic line.

KX-TD1232 (double) with ISDN PRI module and some analogue lines module
installed in main office.

Now we need to install PBX in new office, connect it with PBX in main office
and implement the following features (if possible):
- system in secondary office will have some external lines independently
from main office lines
- all incoming calls to main office should be transferred to secretary/DISA
in the main office and after that it should be possible to transfer this
calls back to secondary office if necessary (e.g. to any other available
manager).
- it's desirable to save existent numbering scheme in the main office (1
additional digit + old number = OK).
- in case of emergency system in second office should be transferred to auto
mode in a short period of time

I have read manuals and find some possibilities (theoretical) to connect
systems in such configuration, but in practice. As I understand it can be
implemented using TIE (E&M), ISDN BRI or ISDN PRI link. It's not a problem
to install any type of extension module on any PBX but it's a problem to
connect it over IP network (fiber channel).

Which types of interfaces used for each type of connections? Can it be
linked over IP network? Which type of additional hardware (e.g. Cisco router
with E&M interface or any other suitable voIP router) should we use for it?
Can some free ISDN PRI lines (only 12 from 30 available lines in main office
used now) be used for connection to secondary office?
Which type of connection preferable (in view of price too) assuming 4 voice
channels between offices will be enough (in worst case).

Any help/link/comments would be appreciated...

With best regards,
Sergey
