I totally agree. Panasonic is a great reliable product. Where we have seen problems is drop and run installers who do not take the time to do a complete installation, program the dss keys, and label them. Also, they do not take time for the customer, either initially, or for long term support.
We just replaced a Mitel switch (puffed its last smoke) with a KX-TDA100 in a hotel. By taking time with the customer, and knowing the integration **possibilities** with the TDA100, we were able to configure the new system to save $2400 per year in telephone line charges. Talk about payback with Panasonic. The Panasonic has the features that we need but our office manager wants something that is newer and is easier to configure. Any suggestions? Once we get our new system, we'll sell the D1232 so if anyone is interested, make us an offer. You might be able to get some parts out of the TVS200.
