Also, consider the new KXTDA Void switch from Panasonic, It is a considerable improvement over the KXTD stuff There is also a new line of digital telephones with full duplex ability and a killer USB option that allows you to integrate your PC and dial out from within MS Outlook Of course you would be able to configure the system to support the existing sets you have now, and maybe replace a few with the new style phones; also with a new digital kxtvs125 voicemail system you would gain a lot more auto attendant features you wished you always had

Panasonic is not the problem, it may be the installer / service tech that has given the bad name. Just because you get bad service at on McDonalds, doesn't mean that they are all bad (well, maybe not a good example). We have a Panasonic D1232 Digital Super Hybrid System with a TVS200 VPS. Well the VPS has died on us and our office manager has decided that he wants nothing more to do with Panasonic phone systems (long story there). Anyway, since many of you install phone systems for a living, I was wondering if you could offer a suggestion for an alternate system. The only one so far that we have considered is the Avaya IP406 or maybe a Samsung (http://www.bestbusinessphones.com/samsung.htm) but are open to all options. The main features we are looking for are SMDR logging Uniform Call Distribution voicemail auto attendant music on hold message on hold one touch recording automatic recording holiday configurable menus for the VPS It would be nice to also have ACD and VoIP but those aren't as important. Something else we really want is a system that is easy to configure and can plug into our network instead of having to configure via a slow serial connection or a manager phone as we do now. The Panasonic has the features that we need but our office manager wants something that is newer and is easier to configure. Any suggestions? Once we get our new system, we'll sell the D1232 so if anyone is interested, make us an offer. You might be able to get some parts out of the TVS200. Not sure whether one of the expansion cards is bad or what. cheers, Rob _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
