I spoke too soon about having a solution to connecting a BT Airway to a KX-TD1232.
I have to admit being at a complete loss. Sometimes with some cable combinations I can get a couple of ports to ring but the same cables will not work on other ports on the Airway [I dont have that problem with my another exchange I am using to test it or with a POTS line]. I have tried to work out empirically what the works and what does not but cannot get to the bottom of it. I have considered earth problems and have tried connection the earth from the KXTD1232 to the earth on the BT Airway - this does not help.
The only thing I have found that might have an impact is that the ring voltage on the KXTD is only on the +ve and not the -ve line T/R.
Has anybody had any experience using the KX-TD1232 with a Silicon Laboratories Si3012 interface based device?
Any ideas?
