well, yesterday I was back at my favorite tvs, and I tried all three flavors of "backspace". PC backspace and delete key will immediately respond with "incorrect entry!" and the left arrow will actually insert a "D" into the key action. So, anyone care to try another guess ;-) I have never found a key, since the very first tvs 75 shipped years ago, resetting the box was the only fix. (or just plug it with l -repeat menu) The old tvp could be "blanked" but it was not an obvious key, I think it was "." (obvious if you realize the rest of the line was "............." )
