If you use the KX-TDA100 or 200, with the hybrid cards, this functions the same as your KX-TD1232 setup. You can program analog XDP on or off, and parallel ring on or off.
If you use a KX-T7630 or 7633 telephone, the analog ports are brought through on the XDP connector. We sometimes plug a 4-wire "Y" adapter into the XDP port to obtain the analog telephone and an additional digital telephone outputs. The KX-T7665 (if you have them) only bring the digital XDP connections through. This equipment is awesome. We replaced a Nortel 6x16 unit with 16 telephones with a Panasonic KX-TDA100. We made an adapter cable to plug into the Nortel cable, and recrimped the satin cord for the existing telephones to bring the center pair to the outside. We also added three more digital XDP telephones. Total on-site time for two techs was 1.5 hours each. KSU was preprogrammed off-site and all phones were pre-assembled. Guys, the TDA series is awesome and worth investing in. Take the training as you now have to think like a "groupie".
