Michael, Question 1: Unanswered transferred calls will always bounce back to the place they originated from UNLESS the destination phone has been forwarded somewhere else. When you set forwarding on any phone to the voicemail extension-165, then transferred calls will go to voicemail. (Forward can be set for All Calls, Busy, No Answer, Busy+No Answer).
Question2: In each mailbox (log in to your own mailbox) you can go to 4- auto attendant options, 4-incomplete handling status, then select 5-operator and 1 to turn it off, then select 6- return to menu and 1 to turn it off In that "Incomplete Handling Status" you set the options that will be presented to the callers, "Leaving a message" is the only one you need to leave turned on.
