I know we have all heard this one before, the conference call volume
is way too low! So I am ordering a conference call chip from VND that
Manny says should do the trick.

Situation: This customer location is near the city's border and the
telco line volume is low already. We noticed the difference when we
do a *72 fwd to another number. So when we initiate a conf-call of
two outside parties from the PT connected to the kxta1232, we can
hear both sides from the PT, but neither side can hear each-other (as
the volume is so low you have to yell!). I am still a young pup (9
yrs exp. compared to you guys and gals w/20+ yrs) and have not had to
deal with this much db loss on a phone line.

Question: What is the typical procedure for handling this issue?
Would it be to install the IC19 conference chip, then contact the
phone company and whine? Is there an after-market device that will
increase CO volume (by juicing up the line)? What do the businesses
in rural areas do about this problem? Should this IC19 chip work?
