Been there, done that. It doesn't work :( The ta123293 CID actually has a few extra pins on it. When installing on a TD1232 or 816, if you don't need add CID to the last set of 4 CO's, TA123280 is a bargain. -Joe >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Joe Childs" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: <[email protected]> >Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2005 7:34 PM >Subject: KX-T: KX-TA1232 = KX-TD1232 > > >> Hey group, >> >> Many don't know that the majority of the cards "built" for the KX-TA1232 >> are >> interchangeable with the Digital 816 and 1232. >> >> For instance: >> >> KX-TA123280 4CO functions in the D816 and D1232 and works as a KX-TD180 >> (except >> for Caller ID). >> (I've just tested them and a TA123293 CID card in a TA123280 CO card will >> NOT >> pass CID when used on a TD1232 system, but hey, who needs CID on the LAST >> lines >> of a trunk group??) >> >> KX-TA123291 DISA- Ditto - works on D1232, not on the D816, just like the >> KX-TD191. >> Direct Inward System Access and Outgoing message.
