Thanks to those who helped me resolve a time-critical situation last night.
I have another issue or two I humbly request some input or advice regarding.
Again, I have a KX-TA624.

I have one particular extension which will not allow calls.  I have a PT
plugged into it, the phone picks up time and date, the appropriate lights go
on displaying which CO's are in use, etc., but I cannot get a dial-tone on
any line on the phone.  I have tried a different PT on the same jack with
the same result.

Second, and I suspect somehow related to the first issue, is that incoming
calls ring to certain extensions that appear to be set to no rings.
Specifically, any newly installed phones.  I am trying to ensure that
incoming calls ring only to the operator's extension during the day.  I
don't want to make blind or uninformed changes to the system, but noticed
that all extensions are in one group.  DO I need to change that?
