Have conquered most of the problems...
a) I was testing via calling 107 from a station w/o VM; thus getting
the Company Greeting. But got dead silence after dialing the
extension #; i.e. while it is ringing. i
Carl suggested changing the PBX Transfer Sequence from FX to FXD
[3 places]. That gets the caller music while ringing, BUT then the
VM never picks up...you get sent back to the Company Menu. Ooops;
changed that back.
Then just tested from here at home and you DO get music! Huh?
b) Is there a way of disabling 'operator' services so that people can't
transfer to something not there?
FWIW: I note DSS buttons do not bring the speakerphone offhook
as they do on a 1232...
c) And have the email notification working; the trace function is a
big help but it talks about DPITS in the trace; err... this is APITS..
d) Lastly, I can't see a way to set the subject of the message
notification email but you can set the sender. That's why these
messages were sent by:
