yes, the first 4 characters must match, so P231 are same dash number  
(-2) or circle 2.

don't know where the P2314 came from, fifth character should be a letter 
;-)
they all start with P, the six numbers are the date and A is US.  It's 
actually best to plug in a set, sys prog and look at 116 (0), can't 
trust the labels, or circle number on bottom nameplate.
